I can maybe live with this until spring break, I'll have time to replace it then.

Pop the door panel off and kick that bitch back out. Problem solved at no cost to you.

I might try that, but I still wont have time for a while

when you gonna take the bodies out the bed?

Lol, when they start to smell of course! I actually might take the sandbags outta the back when summer rears its head, my truck is a lot of fun to drive with no weight in the bed

It's a truck the dents give it character, makes it look purposeful.

You can't get another door at a junkyard?
![]() 02/08/2015 at 19:39 |

I can, but I cant afford it just yet and I dont have time to install it right now
![]() 02/08/2015 at 19:48 |

What's the problem? As long as the door opens and closes, right?
And of course, there's always the Ding King :p

Good idea. You will probably hit something else between now and then.

No that's Billy Mays

Taking a door off doesn't take that long. I've taken the doors of my dart for an afternoon drive and have put them back on all in the course of a few hours including driving around.

I agree with Ubel, shouldn't take too long. Interior panel off, GLASS OUT, brace it with something comfy like foam and wood, then stick your boot in.
![]() 02/08/2015 at 20:02 |

But if I replace it I have to transfer the door car card, probably the glass and the speaker

Damn that thing is loooong. Why's the arse so saggy?
![]() 02/08/2015 at 20:05 |

Probably not actually. I only hit this hydrant because it was in my blindspot and below my belt line. It was a specific set of circumstances that caused this. Im a very good driver and I am aware of the dimensions of my truck.

Is that a thing?

I have 4 gravel bags in the bed, also I took the photo at a weird angle so it looks lower than it is, its actually quite level. Without the bags my truck has sort of a rake

Ah yes, I remember you saying previously about the ballast, I'm pretty sure I recommended Heras fencing feet! How far back are the bags? You could slide them further forward a bit to set the mass a bit prettier between the axles.

I've never seen this one but Autozone had a similar less sophisticated looking dent remover. It was a suction cup and a handle that you pull on.
![]() 02/09/2015 at 02:48 |

You could live with that long enough, its not even on the door you use daily

They are directly over the rear axle, so that might explain why they are depressing the leaf springs. But if I were to move them back my truck would handle weird. This is How I describe my truck with no weight over the rear axle: "like it just escaped from the asylum with only one shoe". Not that is necessarily a bad thing, but when there is snow on the ground its a bit unsafe.

Im a very good driver.
That's not what I heard...lol

Ok I was being an idiot there, I take full blame for that one. But on the streets I'm very competant

Holy shit. I want to kiss you for that.
